The flow meter emit and receive a signal direct at the surface of the liquid being measured , the sensors calculates the level or velocity by processing time between the original and returning signalAlternatively it is suitable for install flow and level sensors or channel stream itself. These are known as area velocity flow meter.

The turbine flow meter can be applied for hygienic, relatively clean and corrosive liquids for 4mm to 20mm.The turbine flow meter is less accurate at low flow rates below 5% of maximum flow rate only due to bearing and shaft of the rotor has maximum friction and rotor rotate slower than the normal flow, that is the reason for this good accuracy.

It is also called as positive displacement volumetric meter, its helical rotor is highly accurate design with very favourable low pressure drop behaviour and no effect of changes of viscosity of the fluid.Due to this measuring range (low to high) viscosity it can be used for painting system, laminating system, adhesive dispense system.
